Hilltop Companies Named Top Workplaces Again

08/06/2025

For the second consecutive year, Hilltop and its subsidiaries—PlainsCapital Bank, PrimeLending, and HilltopSecurities—have each been named as Top Workplaces in the Financial Services Industry.

The 2025 awards were announced in July by Energage, the company that administers Hilltop’s annual employee survey. The responses to the voluntary, anonymous survey resulted in a 79% overall workplace experience score for Hilltop, which even surpassed last year’s exceptional ranking. The workplace experience score represents the overall health of the organization’s workplace culture, and closely correlates with what is evaluated for Top Workplaces outcomes.

Hilltop works with Energage each year to conduct the survey, taking the company’s pulse through the honest, unfiltered feedback of employees across the organization. While Energage requires an employee response rate of at least 35% to be considered for the Top Workplaces designation, nearly 80% of Hilltop employees took part. In addition to answering the survey’s questions, employees provided over 9,800 comments. Hilltop’s leadership using this valuable feedback to help guide decisions in key areas such as benefits, career development, and communication.

“I look forward to the results of our employee engagement survey each year, because it provides such a clear picture of what’s working well and where we can do better as an organization,” said Jeremy Ford, Chairman, President and CEO of Hilltop. “We’ve worked hard to build a strong, positive culture at Hilltop, and I’m proud of the high level of employee engagement demonstrated by these survey results.”
